Hello, 2017 Registrants!

We want you! This year's event will be held on October 7, 2018. To learn more about the event visit us at www.occoquanchallenge.com

Best,
The Challenge Event Staff!

The Challenge is unlike any other head race currently held in the United States. Not a stake race, or a stop-and-go course, this race allows competitors to race flat out on a fully buoyed course with several challenging turns. Both the start and finish are at the same location!

September 18, 2017

We are adding an additional buoy to the end of the "Challenge" Turn to encourage crews to row a full turn without checking and cutting the turn.

What does this mean to you? Because we are adding about 40-50 meters or so to the course we are going to wipe all previous course records and start anew this year. This means if you attend and WIN your event category, you will receive a free entry to the Challenge until that record is broken!
